Here at Birch Hall Care Centre , we appreciate that every resident is different. Each person living with us has their own personal plan that is unique to them. This covers not only their care needs, but also their personal preferences and tastes. We offer home cooked food, daily and themed activities as well as planned minibus outings. Our aim is to offer the best care every day.

JANE MAKEY RGN– MANAGER
For as long as I can remember I always wanted to do something medical and to teach. I am extremely lucky to have had a career in which I have been able to fulfil both of my ambitions. I started my nurse training in 1986 and qualified from Salford School of Nursing in 1989. I have been a nurse in both the NHS and the private sectors and have also lectured in the adult education sector. My personal motto is: “treat others how you wish to be treated yourself” and I will always work hard to embed this value into the culture and practices within the Home so that our residents are always treated with respect and dignity, they are empowered to remain as independent as possible and enable them to enjoy an enriching and fulfilling experience whilst living and receiving care at Birch Hall Care Centre.
